Unable to log in or authorize Apple Music

I can't authorize my 2019 Mac Pro (macOS 11.7.10) for the Apple Music App or Apple TV App. I only had (4) computers authorized, so I "deauthorized all" just in case ... it still would not authorize. I logged out of both the Apple Music App and the Apple TV App and then restarted my Mac Pro. Now, I can't even login to either the Apple Music App or the Apple TV App; I enter my Apple ID and password ... nothing happens!

As a sanity check, I opened iTunes on my 2010 Mac Pro (mac OS 10.14) signed out of iTunes, then logged in back in and authorized that computer without any trouble. Now, I have (1) computer authorized (the 2010 Mac Pro), but I can't do anything to login or authorize the 2019 Mac Pro.

Both computers are using the same wifi network and use the same Apple ID account, so yes, I am connected to the internet and have my Apple ID and password correct. Is there some bug or security "feature" in the Big Sur OS vs. Mojave that needs to be addressed in order to sign-in to either the Apple Music App or the Apple TV App? BTW, I can sign in,out, and back in to the Apple Store just fine on the 2019 Mac Pro in Big Sur, so that is working.

I have searched online for quite a while but have not found an applicable solution, just the usual; "restart", "check your password", "update your OS", etc. Thanks for any ideas.

I found this solution for the exact same problem in an earlier Apple Community discussion:

How can I fix iTunes authorization error … - Apple Community

Apparently there are issues with authorizing Music or Apple TV apps on a Mac running macOS Big Sur. The work-around is to use a temporary install of iTunes to authorize the Mac to access content associated with your Apple ID, but don't actually use iTunes for anything else ... simply use the Music and Apple TV apps normally once the computer has been authorized using iTunes. I tried this scenario, and it worked! It's a shame that Apple had overlooked fixing this obvious OS bug.

I made minor progress; I signed-out of my Apple account and back in from the macOS System Preferences (Big Sur) on my 2019 Mac Pro ... from there, the Apple TV app finally allowed me to sign-in from its menu to my account and view that I now have (1) computer authorized, that is my 2010 Mac Pro (Mojave).

However, I am back to where I started; I still cannot authorize my 2019 Mac Pro for my video library. After I enter my Apple ID and Password to try to authorize my 2019 Mac Pro, there is a long pause followed by the error message. "There was a temporary problem completing your request. Try again later." I have been "trying again" for several hours, and this error message appears to be a common one that seems to be difficult to solve.
