How to disable Liquid Glass display on iPhone for eye comfort?

Liquid Glass is hurting my eyes, even with available settings changes, mentioned in other posts.

Will there be more display options, or a way to turn it off completely?

Liquid Glass Issues:

Upgrade to iOS 26.1, if Applicable:

The Liquid Glass feature has been changed with having a new tinted look, a bit in this update.

  1. Go Here: iOS 26.1 - Apple Suport
  2. At it Reads: Liquid Glass setting gives you the option to choose between the default clear look or a new tinted look which increases opacity of the material in apps and notifications on the Lock Screen.

I. See if iOS26.1 is not yesterday installed:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: About
  4. View: iOS Version

If a iOS26.1 is not yet installed...

II. Update to iOS 26.1

Other than through Settings, there are two other Methods...

A. Use my User Tips:

B. Backup Prior to Updating:

IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update
