2015 MacBook Air 7.1 doesn't recognize OWC Aura Pro X2 SSD

After my failed try with a Crucial SSD returned it and got an Aura Pro X2 SSD 1TB

According to OWC installation guide it is required to install macOS 10.13.6 or higher

prior to installing the Aura Pro X2 SSD.

MacOS Monterey was installed already on my MB ready to proceed and after installation

the new SSD didn't show up on disk utility.

Any thoughts on what maybe hindering the installation?

Did you have Disk Utility set up to show all devices, not just all volumes?

You could check with OWC – but the new SSD may have come completely formatted and may require partitioning with a GUID Partition Map before you can create APFS volumes on it.
