Apple TV app on Android: Login fails, no code received

I'm trying to log in Apple TV app from my Android tablet or phone. On both it asks for a code. I get the popup on my iPhone and macOS saying I'm trying to log in with my apple account with options: "ok, it was not me". On the iPhone I click ok and it disappears and nothing more happens while on the macbook I click and it ays it was not possible to connect to my iCloud account and no code. I tried multiple times in many ways over many days.

I did not receive any code via SMS or any other place. There's no option to click saying that I didn't receive a code.

I'm not sure if yubikeys are a problem, but I have them in my account and cannot deactivate them for security reasons.

I am having precisely the same issue on my android phone (pixel 9), no sms verification is never received. It is not related to yubikeys, cause I don't have them. This all started on my android TV (shield pro 2019) where Apple TV app just won't load past the splash screen. I have tried everything. And worked through Apple support too only for them to disconnect from me. I figured I should try the app on my phone and sure enough login issues, no sms delivered d with verification code. I presume the issue I am experiencing with the Apple TV app on my android TV box is the same issue I am having on my phone.

I'm paying $15 plus MLS sub a month for this but cant access.
