Search function in Safari History not working

The Search function within Safari's Show All History screen has suddenly stopped working for me. I can type in the Search field, but the History doesn't automatically filter as I type, nor does function perform if I hit the Return key. This is occurring on an iMac M4, 2024, macOS Sequoia 15.7.1.
