Yahoo Mail not working on MacBook Air IOS mail App.

My Yahoo mail is not working on my MacBook Air in the Mail App, but works on my iPhone. I have deleted the Yahoo account from my Mail app an attempted to bring it back, but it will not return. The Yahoo password shows the loading attempting (Spinning) yet nothing will return to my mail account. I have also attempted to use info from an old thread to use an external connection app password through my yahoo account and this has not worked as well. Appreciate everyones help.
