Mac m3 air hanging while running node server and cursor

Why my m3 air is taking so much memory while running a react server, its using a whooping 4-5gb of memory for running "node" on top of that I have "tsserver" , not able to code , hanging again and again .

PS: Cloned the same repo in an M2 pro and there the "Node" is just taking 2-3 of memory. Nothing changed.
