Why can’t I include or exclude multiple lists in Apple Reminders Smart Lists Filters?

Good luck. Similar story here, but after many years I found that few “todoers” offer genuinely improved functionality vs plain old Reminders+Calendar. They will typically offer some novel feature but always fail to make meaningful use of it to enable building a methodical workflow. It’s the same weak tea in different wrappers, adding complexity without actually solving anything.

Take a look at GoodTask, it will let you build smart(er) lists from your existing Reminders, and also integrates with iOS Calendar. Its a shame to have to use a whole separate app just to gain this one feature that really should already be there…

Post back if you find something besides disappointment.

It’s frustrating when the command says exactly what you want it to do but then doesn’t actually do it, especially when it seems like the thing it does do is so pointless…

One in 2023 and again in 2024. Now you and me make four:

I submitted a feedback on this directly to Apple. Anybody else seeing this should do the same. Maybe they’ll fix it before 2030.
