Migrated from Mac Mini
Saving and Finding Files and I get the beach ball spinning wheel.
When I use Finder, everything works great, but when a file needs to be found like in Word, I get the beachball. When I save a file, I get a beach ball.
I've been with customer service about spotlight, and their solutions don't work.

If you use iCloud Desktop & Documents syncing, try turning it off. There is a known bug with the Save dialog, I suspect it will be fixed in the next update.

You can try to remove elements from the list where spotlight searches, and activate them little by little, until you find which one is causing the problem, this way it will be easier to isolate it.
Another option is to try, from the disk utility, to repair disk permissions.
