Hi, the past few days the screen on my 2022 macbook air has started showing grey and black horisonatal, and now vertical, lines.
it has gotten progressively worse and I can now not see the screen at all. Then from nowhere it works fine again only to go back to lines again.
Any idea of DIY fixes before i have to spend 100 euro at local mac support shop?

Oh my. That is not fixable at home. The home tests I mentioned are diagnostic, not fixes. All they tell you is if you face an expensive display assembly replacement or an even more expensive logic board replacement.
Display repairs are very pricy because the display in one sealed assembly. If any component is damaged or fails, the entire assembly must be replaced. Even the cable is part of that assembly.
At this point all you can do is have Apple evaluate. Not sure where you are but forum users here in the US have reported that a display replacement (parts + labor) by Apple or an independent provider started at around US$500 and costs go up with screen size.

You use the "Image Insertion" tool in the bottom bar of a text entry window:
Images must be in jpg or png format. iPhone photos in HEIF/HEVC mode usually will not post. Image file size must be 5MB or smaller. If taking the image with an iPhone, you can change format to jpg by doing Settings > Camera > Formats and selecting "Most Compatible."
I wish I could offer you hope. However, there are not any DYI fixes for display issues such as you describe. Testing at home will only tell which of two expensive repairs your are facing.
Still we can look ay the images when you get them posted. Maybe we can find something.

This is at its worse. At its best it looks normal or with thin grey horisontal lines 🙁
