MacBook: Finder 'file can't be found' on theme switch

I have been experiencing a weird kind of issue with my MacBook.

Whenever the theme switches from light to dark - either manually or automatically,

I get this Finder pop-up saying the file can't be found. Despite the alert, the theme switches like normal and I'm not experiencing any issues.

This didn't use to be the case when I got the Mac, it just randomly started happening.

What might be the cause and easiest fix?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.2

I didn’t have any extensions - I did however have the Logi Options+ app as a Login Item. I tried turning it off and the issue disappeared.

The Login Item is necessary for the app to work so I did a reinstall and it’s now fixed.
