Logic 11.2.2 Piano Roll not remembering automation settings

Logic 11.2.2 Piano Roll issues.

I use the Piano Roll Window a lot <> the full window, not the section on the Main Area.

However since 11.2.2 every time i open the piano roll again the Automation pane at the bottom shows REGION : ANY CH:1 = Modulation... so each time I have to switch back to Velocity if I had used velocity the last time I was in the window (and I use velocity A LOT more than Modulation). Doesn't seem to remember it.

I have also saved it with Velocity active in my template, but again it always shows Modulation.

And another thing in the Piano Roll is

When pitch bend is selected in Automation and you change the lines with the mouse rather than displaying values between +63 and -64 it shows strange numbers in their thousands (see screenshot)....

will the Piano Roll be fixed with the next update ?
