I updated my 16" 2021 macbook pro to Tahoe 26.1 and now Stellarium doesn't work. It comes up in a translucent state and does not respond to any input. Any ideas? I also downloaded a zip file for the latest version of Stellarium and attempting to unzip the download failed with the following message:

I'm using Tahoe 26.1 on an M1 iMac with Stellarium 24.4.0 and it's working properly. Maybe see if you can download the older version and try that. I also downloaded 25.3 and it too is working properly. However, the download did take longer than expected. Did you wait until the download was completed?
If you know you downloaded the entire file, try rebooting into safemode then back to normal and then re-download it and try again.

You likely need to contact the Stellarium support team. They may have an update in the works. When Apple makes changes to macOS it’s the developer’s responsibility to keep their product compatible.
While I got the error message unzipping the file I located a new image on the desktop that seems to work ok.
