Is FileVault still enabled? By default the installation of Tahoe turns it on. Unless you enter the password immediately after it tries to start up, it will shut back down. If it’s still on, turn it off in privacy and security system settings.
If that’s not it, What command do you enter and what is the response and what does this command return.

Note —that you may only have one pair of repeating events scheduled
needs to be on one line—
ex
sudo pmset repeat poweron MTWRFSU 6:00:00 shutdown MTWRFSU 21:30:00
ex
pmset repeat wakeorpoweron T 12:00:00 sleep MTWRFSU 20:00:00
