Cannot sign in to Apple TV app on LG QNED TV

got my new tv today, it is an LG QNED tv, and I keep getting something went wrong when I got to log on to Apple TV app. I can get into the app but it won’t let me sign in to my account. Every other app is working fine, my internet is connected and I have checked the app and tv have been updated. Not sure what else to do and just want it to work, this is literally day one with this tv

You may want to check you are signed in on the new TV with the correct Apple Account:

Sign in to your Apple Account on the web or in your device settings - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Sign in using the Apple Music app and the Apple TV app on your smart TV or other streaming device

If you didn’t sign in when you opened the app for the first time, you can use Settings in the Apple Music app or Apple TV app to sign in. Use your controller’s back button or left button to open the sidebar.
Go to Settings.
Select Sign in.
Enter your Apple Account email address or phone number and your password. You can also scan the QR code on the screen to use your phone to sign in.
