Siri plays French news despite English language settings

I am located in Canada. When I ask siri to play the news, or tell me my daily briefing it will play french news "Le Radiojournal" instead of an english news source. My siri language is english, language and region in settings is also english. I would love to get this resolved, your help is appreciated.
