I agree that is strange, but the search result is not even showing the old event in the search page. I suggest the first troubleshooting steps to use would be a Force Restart of the iPhone. Follow the steps carefully in this support document. Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
Are you sure there is a future event that matches your search criteria? I've just checked my iPhone 17 Pro Max and searched and it located all events matching the criteria I used, both old and future.
What troubleshooting have you tried? How are you managing/syncing your calendar, iCloud, other email account?
Chris, thank you for responding. I have an every 3 week appt with my Accupuncture Dr. Her name is Dr Ma. If I search Dr Ma…nothing comes up. The search feature is absolutely worthless right now.

The force restart didn’t change a thing. I have had this new phone for a week today. Should I return it and get a new one? I have another issue as well. I have CarPlay on my Ford Edge. I use WAZE quite a bit. With this new phone, I plug in to the USB port, with Waze on my phone screen, my screen on my Ford Edge no longer displays my route. The audio comes from my phone.
Chris, sorry for the long delay. I reached out to Apple Support (via phone). After much ado, the agent placed an order to replace my new iPhone . It arrived yesterday, we loaded iOS and transferred my data from the new phone to the replacement phone. Now my CarPlay works but I still have the same issue with my calendar. Do you have any idea when Apple plans on correcting this issue? There are lots of strings in this forum with the same issue. Thank you in advance. Dale
