Apple Watch automatically going into Power Saving Mode is this normal?
I noticed something strange: Whenever I remove the watch from my wrist or keep it idle for around 10 minutes, it automatically switches to Power Saving Mode. I contacted Apple, and they told me it’s a battery saving feature, not an issue.

Just to make sure, it is normal for the watch to disable the display after a certain time, if not used, and enter standby mode.
The Low Power Mode is something different and you will see the yellow circle as an indicator for this mode.
Did you at some point select to turn on Low Power Mode for a longer period of days, as explained in this article?

Normally your watch will alert you about the option to turn on Low Power Mode, if your battery life drops below 10%
The strange thing is my watch goes into Power Saving Mode even when the battery is 97%. It only happens when I remove it from my wrist or leave it idle for around 10 minutes.
Apple Support told me it’s a “normal battery-saving behaviour when the watch isn’t being worn,” but I’m not sure if it should switch at such a high battery percentage. That’s why I’m checking here to see if anyone else has the same issue.
