Stop 'directions pause spoken audio' from rewinding a few seconds when play continues.

Apple maps is set to directions pause spoken audio. On my old phone it would pause podacsts, give the directions then continue to play the podcast when directions are done. With ios 26.1 it pauses the audio, plays the directions, rewinds the podcast a few seconds then plays from there. This is very irritating. I want the audio to continue from where it was, I do not want to hear the last few seconds again. Is there any way to eliminate the backing up of the podcast ?
