Issues with Audiotrak Maya 5U on macOS “Tahoe” with MacBook Pro M4

Hi everyone,

I recently switched from my old Mac Pro (where my Audiotrak Maya 5U worked perfectly) to a new MacBook Pro M4 running macOS “Tahoe”.

The device is detected by the system as two separate audio devices (same as before), but I can’t change any settings or get any sound output. The main difference is that I now have to connect it via a Thunderbolt 4 dock (Plugable TBT4-UD5), since the MacBook has no USB-A ports.

I’ve confirmed that the Maya 5U works perfectly on my older Mac, so the device itself is fine. I’m not sure if this issue is related to the macOS update, the USB-to-Thunderbolt hub connection, or the device driver.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the Maya 5U on macOS “Tahoe”? Any advice, workarounds, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I might bypass the Dock if that is your issue and compare your results
