Depending upon your ultimate goals it is worth noting the comment by Chattanoogan about the contradiction between what the unofficial user community document says, and what Apple says, about restoring from a backup. Until this is definitively updated then my inclination is to follow what Apple says because it aligns with trying to remove similar services on its devices.
