What does the tiny yellow dot at the top of my iPhone 15 mean?

Hi, On my iPhone 📲 15 what does it mean when this little tiny yellow dot stays on or appears at the very top of my phone? I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️ what this is/ means and it DRIVES ME NUTS, does anyone know what this is?

I believe you are seeing the microphone on indicator. It’s more of an orange color but it’s on top of the screen when your mic is on like during a phone call or dictation. I hope that helps.
