Request for Assistance Regarding MacBook Pro 16" 2023 Repair Status with No Updates
Subject: Request for Assistance Regarding MacBook Pro 16" 2023 Repair Status with No Updates
Hello,
I would like to seek advice from the community regarding an issue I am currently facing with a repair service that has provided no updates.
On October 31st, I submitted my MacBook Pro 16" (2023) for repair at Apple Iconsiam. I was informed that the estimated repair time would be approximately two weeks, and that I should receive the device back around November 13th.
However, as of today, I have not received any updates on the repair status from either the store or any other Apple support channels.
During the waiting period, I purchased a Mac mini as a temporary solution to continue my work. Unfortunately, due to frequent travel recently, the Mac mini cannot meet my mobility needs, and not having my primary device returned on time has significantly affected my workflow.
I have attempted to contact Apple through several channels, summarized as follows:
- Calling Apple Iconsiam
- Unable to reach the store directly.
- My calls are automatically redirected to Apple Support.
- Contacting Apple Support
- I was informed that they also “do not have visibility” into the repair status.
- I received an email from Apple Support, but it did not contain any useful details.
This has resulted in a repetitive cycle of:
Unable to contact the store → redirected to Support → Support has no information → email with no details
I feel that this issue has not been properly addressed, and it is quite disappointing—especially considering Apple’s reputation as a global leader in customer service and product quality.
I would appreciate any advice from the community on:
- Whether anyone has experienced a similar situation
- What steps I might take next to obtain a clear update on my repair
Thank you in advance for any guidance or insights.
