How to resolve Printshop Deluxe issues on Mac?

I had a few versions of this app a good 20 years ago. Each one becoming worse than the previous. The last one I bought came with 8 CDs you needed to install the app. Much of it being small, low res images. Or said another way, thousands of crummy images I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to use.

And even back then, they dumbed it down. You could use .eps, .tif, .jpg and other common images at first. In the third (and last) version I would ever pay for, it would only recognize .jpg's. And not only dumbed down, but it constantly crashed due to the mountain of features they tried to cram into the app along with what seemed to be a complete lack of fixing any bugs before releasing it.

Honestly, you'd be much better getting the now free Affinity Studio and creating your own cards, posters and such in the page layout part of the app.

I don't know if you can. This is a title that has been bludgeoned and bloated into a buggy mess. $50 on the App Store with no positive reviews.

In other words, the vendor keeps selling it because people keep buying it. But they put no effort at all into producing software that can even pronounce the word "quality".

The software version of a Roach Motel is Printshop Deluxe. You can check in but never leave…
