How to recover missing fonts?

I opened up a Microsoft Word document I created many years ago. At the time, I liked to use a variety of fonts, many of which now seem to be missing. I looked at FontBook and realized some of the fonts I used a LOT, such as New Century Schoolbook and Apple Dingbats are also missing. How do I recover these lost fonts?
