iPhone 16 model number and part number don't seem to match the box descriptor.

I'm looking at purchasing this phone sold as new on marketplace, an iPhone 16 Pro Max 1 TB. The model number and part number don't match the box descriptor. The part number MYW93LL/A seems to indicate its a US iPhone 16 Pro Max 512. The model number Indicates its a Canadian market iPhone and I'm looking at it for the Canadian market use. Does this look legit to anyone the way it seems to be inconsistent, or am I looking at it wrong? Is it fraudulent?

Just DON'T do it. Marketplace is one of the absolute worst places you can buy an iPhone. Bit if you do and you get scammed, don't come here looking for help. There will be none available. People come here daily who got ripped off on eBay, Marketplace and Offerup. Of course if you can afford to throw money away, it's your money.

There's an old saying........."Buyer, Beware!" for a reason.

There is no such thing as "new" on marketplace.

"New" means it is being sold for the first time by Apple or an authorized retailer.

It is not New. At best, it is being resold. By definition it is used. At worst, it's stolen. Actually, at worst, you'll be murdered when you show up to pick it up, but that's a slightly different issue...

Do NOT buy apple products from Marketplace, or craigslist, or any other unregulated arena that does not provide any kind of buyer protection.
