iPad (9th generation) sound keeps going out after update

My ipad sound keeps going out since the latest update (iPadOS 26.1 (23B85)), the only thing that will fix it is a restart. Any clue what could be going on?

iPad (9th generation) never dropped, never wet, always in a case 🙂
