First, thank you for including both the printer name, and the error message.

The available doc for this printer is limited.

This printer has a manual control to switch between USB and Wi-Fi, which is definitely an odd design choice. I’m going to assume you are using Wi-F network access, and not USB.

The printer does list AirPrint support, which means common functions don’t need vendor drivers. You should be able to set it up using AirPrint: Print wirelessly from your Mac to your printer - Apple Support

There appears to be an embedded web server, accessible using a web browser and the printer’s IP address. If the printer IP address is 203.0.113.12, enter http://203.0.113.12 in the web browser. (That’s a bogus IP address. Replace it with your printer’s IP address.) Might have to turn off HTTPS use here if you can’t visit the printer’s own web page anyway, as this looks to be a very old printer and HTTPS might balk. The embedded web server may have the ability to check for firmware updates, or maybe other device-related troubleshooting. If it does support an embedded web server, check the server web pages for any info related to firmware updates.

Available Wi-Fi support for this printer is 2.4 GHz only, and 2.4 Ghz tends to be overrun and flaky and chock-full of interference in many places.

That message — [8875B6]._ipp._tcp.local — is macOS saying it sees a network service entry for your printer, but the connection is broken or corrupted. In plain English: your Mac finds the HP Deskjet 3050A over Bonjour/IPP, but the service record is damaged or the printer is advertising itself incorrectly. This often happens after router changes, printer IP changes, or macOS’s print system caching bad data.

See if the following can help ...

  1. Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners
  2. Select the HP Deskjet 3050A.
  3. Click the (i) and choose Remove Printer.

This should clear the corrupted `.local` service reference.

Next, I suggest that you reset the macOS Print System. This flushes every stale queue, driver reference, and Bonjour cache your Mac has collected:

  1. In the Printers list, right-clic (or Control-click) the empty space.
  2. Choose Reset printing system…
  3. Approve the reset.

Try power resetting both your printer and your router.

Do this in order:

  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Restart your router/Wi-Fi access point.
  3. Turn the printer on again and make sure it reconnects to Wi-Fi.

Finally, add the printer back again.
