What is highest level for OSx for Quickbooks 2013 (Desktop)
iMac (late2013) currently running OS x 10.9 (Mavericks)
I have been unable to open Messaging or email and several internet sites state that my browser is incompatible with site - afraid (horrible feeling anyway) if I update to later version of OS x then QB 2013 will be incompatible.
iMac 27″, macOS 10.15
El Capitan seems to be the last macOS version where it works. Sierra and later seem to have issues with it, or outright will not work.

Most all websites (including financial) and email hosts are using current security protocols that are not available in macOS Mavericks browser or email clients. Almost certainly, if not increasingly, also true with any operating system older than Catalina - which is the last operating system your 2013 iMac can upgrade.
What is your affinity for QuickBooks 2013 in 2025? Intuit hasn't supported the 2013 version in over a decade.
