Cursor click not always working

When on a web page and I click the cursor on a box such as ENTER, SUBMIT, or SIGN IN, if the box is near the bottom of the page, nothing happens. But if I am able to move that box to the middle of the page or higher and then click on it, everything works OK. This problem does not always happen but I can't say there is a pattern either. Any suggestions?

Mac mini, macOS 15.7

Here's a couple of suggestions:

(1) If you use a trackpad with your Mac Mini: You may want to check the "Point and Click" trackpad Settings that are in place ... iie: to give you greater control.)

On your Mac: Click the black Apple on the left in the top menu bar

Choose System Settings then look though the "Trackpad" settings to customize to suit

(Eg: on a track pad we tend to use: the finger-pad to click when in middle of page, (firm pressure is easy)

yet we may use the finger-tip when near the bottom of a page, (may require more pressure)

So making a setting adjustment may help the "click" work every time.)

If you use a mouse rather thsn a trajkpad for cursor control: Check the mouse settings instead

(2) A website's webmaster may be well-trained, and given the time to ensure the website works well on all browsers. Unfortunately a very many websites are geared to work well on just a few browsers only, and those may or may not include Safari.

For a frequently used website, or one where difficulties are frequently experienced, it may be wise to check their support or help pages to find out which browsers are the ones the website is tailored to work best on.

Some of us have another browser besides Safari (eg: Firefox) and if a site isn't working well with one browser, try using the other browser, or check which browsers are supported.( Eg: The online supermarket I order from cannot process orders on Safari at all. Cannot "submit" an order. So, after experimenting, and consulting their website support team, I found I must use Firefox any time I choose to order a grocery delivery, or shop elsewhere).

All the best :-)
