How to stream purchased music on MacBook without downloading

I cannot stream my purchased music albums from my MacBook using the Music App (MacBook Air M4, newest MasOC).

I only have the download option.

Also I cannot stream them from iTunes using the browser.

I do not have a Music App subscription. I have only purchased mass of music from iTunes.

How can I stream these albums with my new Mac without the need of downloading all these?

Apple Music subscription has streaming but even then it may cache files on your computer.

How to delete music on your Mac

  1. Open the Apple Music app.
  2. In the sidebar, click Songs or Albums.
  3. Click More next to a song or click More over an album. Then choose from the following:
  • Remove
  • Download: If the song is downloaded, you can remove the download from
  • only your Mac. If you downloaded the music from the Apple Music catalog,
  • the music will still appear in your library but it can be played only
    • when your Mac is connected to the internet.
    • Delete from Library: Delete the music from your music library, including playlists. If you have Sync Library turned on, the music will also be deleted from all of your other devices.
