Digital Copy of DVD From Another Region, Still Redeemable?

I recently bought a DVD of the movie Bad Santa 2. It had a flyer in it with a code for a digital copy of the DVD. When I went to redeem it, it said it was only available in Canada, I am in the US. What can I do? Am I just SOL on the digital copy? Thank you to whomever has some information on this!

Yes — you likely are out of luck for redeeming the digital copy under U.S. / non-Canadian conditions.

If I were you, I'd try contacting the distributor / digital-copy support — maybe you can persuade them to help (particularly if you bought the disc new). If that fails — well, at least you still own the physical DVD.
