iMac still associated with Apple ID after erase

I am trying to set up an imac after doing the erase procedure prior to passing it on to a family member. At the activate stage it says the computer is still associated with my apple account. What have I done wrong and how can I resolve the problem?

Thanks, I had done all that but it was still associated with my account for some reason. I have managed to remove it from my list of devices from another account (had to switch off Find My and Theft Protect temporarily to do that) and that solved the issue. Computer is now happily with its new owner.
