iPhone call and voicemail indicators not working correctly

IOS26.1 problem. Indicator appearing with phone icon showing number of recent calls won't go away despite deleting recent calls. I've tried shutting down/restarting... no luck.

Also noticing that I'll have voicemails BUT THAT indicator does NOT appear at all. I have to get into voicemail to DISCOVER i have a voicemail.

Any tips/advice? Is this an anticipated bug fix? Thanks
