Unable to redeem 4 months of Apple Music with my AirPods purchase

I bought AirPods and they came with Apple Music offers, but when I tried to redeem them, it said I wasn't eligible. Why? It says it's for 4 months, but it only shows 3 months.

This happens very often, and it’s almost never explained clearly in the offer details.

Here’s exactly why you’re seeing:

❌ “Not eligible”
❌ Only 3 months instead of 4 months
❌ Offer won’t redeem even though you bought new AirPods

It comes down to Apple’s eligibility rules, which are much stricter than they appear in the marketing banner.
