Apple TV app on Android TV stuck after location update

I am trying to log in to the Apple TV app on an Android TV. I can enter my log in details but then I get a message to say that as my account location is France it needs to update the Apple TV selections as I am using the TV in Greece. I then get a spinning wheel which never goes away. I have tried a hard reset on the TV and my router, I have deleted the Apple TV app and downloaded a new copy but it is still doing the same thing. It was working fine last week but since then I have only changed my wifi provider

I can log into the Apple TV app on my Mac without any issues.
