Text and Siri stopped working in apple play. Everything else still works. Drive a Honda accord 2024 hybrid sport. Dealership stated it’s an iOS issue, is this true?? I tried resetting everything but nothing works.

Keeping iPhone updated can often help side-step issues, (ie may fix features, bugs, security updates, etc.:
Wondering if your iPhone has the most recent iOS 26 update installed:
About iOS 26 Updates - Apple Support Eg: says iOS 26.1 is the latest version.
You can check in Settings > General > Software Updates
Reminder: It is always wise to back-up iPhone before updating th iOS.

There have been two Apple updates since iOS 26 came out.
Sometimes it can be that a firmware update is needed in order for the car's infotainment / stereo system to remain compatible with iPhone and CarPlay. Some car-manufacturer's are prompt in keeping pace, others may not be so prompt. The car manual may have info. on firmware updates, and / or the manufacturer's support website may have info., support, (or even firmware downloads ?), available.

I’ve done everything possible as far as it is updated, resetting, etc. The Honda dealership said it’s an iOS update issue. I’m trying to see if anyone else has had this problem? I’m thinking the Honda dealership doesn’t know how to fix it and that’s their response. Smh
