Iphone 15 pro max failed messenger call with mobil data

Hello everyone,

I have noticed an issue when someone calls me on the Messenger app, or when I call someone—it happens either way. This occurs on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I have tried various methods suggested in YouTube videos and Google search results, such as “Offload app,” uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but none of them resolved the issue.

When I am connected to Wi-Fi, the connectivity issue is resolved, and both incoming and outgoing calls work perfectly. However, this issue persists when I use mobile data. I have even tried different SIM cards, including eSIMs from other network providers, but the problem remains the same.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution?

Thanks!

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18

Yes I thought it may be, is why I said The App in Question.

I don't know if it needed the iMessage and FaceTime reactivation, BUT swapping SIMs around freaks me out, and could easily mess both up, so it would be a good idea to do the activation after every SIM swap.

First, Settings, Mobile Service (or cellular) and scroll down to make sure the app in question is turned on.

then

1.    Settings, Apps, Messages, turn off iMessage,

2.    Settings, Apps, Facetime, turn off Facetime,

3.    Power down the phone.

4.    Turn it on again.

5.    Settings, Apps, Messages, turn on iMessage,

6.    Settings, Apps, Facetime, turn on Facetime

 do it in that sequence.

And NEVER swap SIMs into the iphone without doing all six steps.

And do bit swap SIMs out, without doing steps 1 thru 4 or that SIM could remain registered to your phone..

SIMs are not to be messed around with!
