Apple Pay not possible in apple webstore

Hi all,

I use Apple Pay in physical stores and in webstores. Works perfectly. Except … when I buy something from the (Belgian) apple webstore. I can choose Apple Pay, but when I identify myself with fingerprint or facial recognition, it always says Apple Pay is not permitted(or something like that), without further explanation. This happened three or four times over the past year.

Happens with my iPhone 13 and iPad 2025, iOS 25, 26 and 26.1.

Does anyone have the same issue, and is there a solution?
