Safari and app store no longer working on macbook pro

I hadn't used my macbook pro for several months. When I started using it again recently I found that I couldn't open any pages using Safari, and I can't open the App store. Firefox is fine. I'm still on Monterey 12.7.6. I've restarted, I've cleared history/caches, i've removed extensions that I can see in preferences. Any other suggestions?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.7
