Missing files after turning off iCloud Drive
Where did my files go??!
I saw the warning and like a fool ignored it.
"If you turn off iCloud Drive, all documents stored in iCloud will be removed from this Mac."
"This includes documents on your Desktop and in your Documents folder which will be available on iCloud Drive only."
Needed to turn off iCloud for a second, turned it back on and some of my portfolio files are no longer there. The odd thing is that it is only affecting random files in different folders. Some of the files are still there while other working files are not. And some folders are completely empty! Checked my iCloud on the browser and folders with missing files say ZERO BYTES! I thought I was saving all of my stuff locally. Am I going crazy?? My iCloud Drive filled up years ago and I never upgraded it, never cared to upgrade it and not interested in upgrading!! But my devices never let up in continuing to remind me that my drive is full. If it is full, my files should have been stored locally! This is extremely confusing and I don't understand this system. Where are my files and why are only random files being affected? All of them were created long after my iCloud was full.
