Windows 11 - Loud static and bass, but no song will play

In Windows 11, some songs will play, then eventually some songs will just not play and instead I get really loud static and bass that nearly gives me a heart attack. Trying to play some songs after that just causes the same effect. I've tried changing the audio quality, even downloading the songs, but no difference.
