Is the Apple Macbook Air 13 M4 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD slowing down when working with 20 layouts in a Frame compared to the Apple M4 Pro (14C CPU, 20C GPU), 24 GB RAM, 1024 GB SSD? The question is more for designers who design interfaces.

Since the Air has no fan to cool it, if the CPU/GPU gets too warm, the operating system will scale back the performance to spare the Mac until it cools down. The M4 Air is constrained to 10C, 10G cores so would certainly perform slower than the mentioned M4 MacBook Pro model (even with less RAM) under identical work flow — provided that Figma is written to be multi-thread aware.
Under what loads do laptops behave the same way, and under how many conditions does Air start to lag behind the Pro?
