MacBook Air charging graphic glitches with Apple cable
I have a 2024 Macbook Air and it has been very lightly used by me over the past couple months. When on the charger, the lightening bold would become glitchy and the graphic turns to a blob. It's different than the plug symbol that sometimes comes up - it's as if the lightening bolt has bled around the edges.
I had this happening for a few weeks, then my charger stopped working completely - it would flash orange when plugged in and would not connect to the computer.
I had a genius bar appointment and they determined the brick was okay, but the charging cable needed to be replaced. I bought a new Apple charging cable but kept the original brick. I am now using a new cable, which is charging the computer properly, but the glitchy lightening bolt is still there.
I have tried resetting the SMC and restarting my computer, but neither worked. Is anyone else having this issue?
