Apple Pay not working, check information

My Apple Pay keeps declining, despite the card working fine in person. I never had a problem with my Apple Pay beyond tap until last week when I locked my card now everytime I try to use it it says to check the information on the card. I’ve tried everything from removing and readding the card, making sure my address is correct, everything but I just can’t get it working

Apple is not a bank and cannot approve or decline a transaction/payment. The notification(s) you’re receiving are originated by the issuing bank or payment network operator (Visa, MasterCard, American Express etc.). Something is amiss between your iPhone, bank and PNO. Your bank’s support team will need to assist you with your account. The bank will need to contact PNO if they determine the error is not with the bank.
