How do you forward a text thread outside of Apple?

It's there on mine. Press and hold on the message. The menu should pop up. "More" is at the bottom. Tap it. Select the messages you want to forward then tap the forward button (bottom right).

When you tap on More, the message you selected originally will have a blue check mark on the side, you can then just tap on the circle next to each message to select them. Assuming I understand what you are trying to do (and what “outside of Apple” means), you basically can’t (other than individual posts).

You might try looking through the User Guide to see if you can accomplish your desired results through other means.

You can select multiple (or even all) of the individual posts in a thread. But your assumption of what the OP wants to do is probably more correct than mine.

Tap on "More." On the next screen, tap in the bubbles to the left of the messages to select the ones you want to forward. The ones with the blue checks in the picture below have been selected. The forwarding arrow is in the bottom right.
