Updated bank card not being added to wallet

I have had a new card through, same card number just updated expiry date.

I have gone to update this card, however it will not allow me to add this to Apple Pay.

I have tried removing the card from iCloud however because of an active subscription (apple storage) it won’t allow me to delete it. I don’t want to cancel the subscription as it may cause me to lose all my stored photos.

How do I go about adding my card to apple wallet please?
