iPhone 17 Pro intermittent touch issues

I recently upgraded from iPhone SE2 to a brand new iPhone 17 Pro. I keep having issues with the responsiveness of the touch screen. Everything works fine for maybe 5 or 10 minutes, then the screen randomly stops responding to touch or has a massive lag when trying to scroll. I've done countless hard resets. Either does nothing, or in a few cases, makes it worse. Everything is up to date with ios 26.1. Storage is definitely not an issue. I made an appointment with Apple Genius Bar in my area. They did all kinds of diagnostics and found no issues. They then did a full revive on my phone, which took a good half hour. Seemed smooth for about 10 minutes. Got home, back to the freezes. I don't know what else to do.
