iPencil does not work w/ iOS 26?
I installed iOS 26 and now the iPencil does not magnetically attach properly to the iPad (model MD4H4LL/A) nor does it work. It is possible that it lost its charge, but I have no way of charging it.

Updating the system software on your iPad cannot possibly alter the ability of a compatible Apple Pencil to attach magnetically to your iPad.
Do you have a fitted case. Some poorly designed or fitted cases can interfere with the correct positioning of the Apple Pencil against the magnetic charging dock of the iPad. Similarly, if you have placed the Pencil in a sleeve, this too may prevent the Pencil from reliably attaching to the iPad.
