How do I disable preliminary scanning?
How do I disable the preliminary scan on my TS8750 Cannon printer/scanner? I don't want or need to see a preview. I want to go straight into scanning a doc.

If you're using Apple's native Image Capture, I don't believe there is any to disable the initial overview scan. If the scanner has a document feeder and that is selected, there is no overview scan but if Flatbed is selected then the overview happens. After that initial overview scan, though, you can just click Scan repeatedly after swapping documents and avoid the overview.
